Weird Bastard . com is a website of entertainment, weird stuff, and randomness. Life sucks, but Weird Bastard . com doesn’t.

Generally, I am a weird guy. My friends and people I don’t even know have said to me that I am weird, including an ex girlfriend’s 11-year-old sister. I always took it as a compliment.

At social occasions I’d hang out with my house mates, and there were countless conversations that I was in that ended with “you’re a weird bastard Jimmy”. It wasn’t until I told a friend that my parents weren’t married when I was born, and so the term “weird bastard” became that much more funny. I think there were tears of laughter involved with this sudden realisation.

Over that year and the next I then got more and more into web design, and in a conversation with this same house mate I told him that I should make a website and call it “weird bastard dot com”.  He said something along the lines of “Jimmy if you did that you’d seriously be a legend.”

So I did.

Conclusion. I think people shouldn’t have to resist being who they are socially or not. If they try hard to fit in and be someone normal or try and be socially proper, then that is even more weird.
